Autoloaders Set Overlap
Many designers include Overlap on their multi-page charts to make it easier for stitchers to ensure that they are working on the correct stitches when moving between pages. As Markup R-XP is capable of stitching all these pages together the overlap is no longer required and needs to be removed. The Autoloader ‘Set Overlap’ page is where users can inform Markup R-XP on how much overlap needs to be removed.

Overlap Positions
The overlap on a chart is typically situated in one of two positions: 1) Top & Left, 2) Bottom & Right.

[Bottom Right Overlap – Page example]
The correct location and correct amount of overlap needs to be selected to ensure that Markup R-XP can fit the full page layout together correctly.
Identifying Overlap on Page 2
The first question Markup R-XP asks is if there is any shaded areas (i.e. overlap) shown in the Top Left hand corner of the second selected chart page. This is because if the overlap is in the Top or Left of a page then there will be no overlap on the first page of your PDF chart. This is most common type of overlap.

Count the number of shaded rows/columns and click on the corresponding numbers to indicate the amount of overlap defined.

Identifying Overlap on Page 1
If no overlap is selected on the previous page, then the second question Markup R-XP asks is if there is any shaded areas (i.e. overlap) shown in the Bottom Right hand corner of the first selected chart page. This is because if the overlap is in the Bottom or Right of a page then the overlap will be present on the first page of your PDF chart
