Your Current Project is the large project card on the Home tab. It shows the project you’re working on right now and gives you everything you need to jump straight back into setup or stitching.
It forms part of the Home tab. See The Dashboard for a wider tour of the main areas.
Current Project at a Glance
What Everything Means |
- Project name: tap the pencil to rename the project.
- Cover image: tap it to open the project and continue stitching.
- Started and Edited: when you began, and when you last marked a stitch.
- Stitch counts: Total, Marked and Todo for the whole chart.
- Time and Est.: your stitching time so far, and the estimated time left.
- Complete: an optional completion date for the project.
- Progress bar: how much of the chart you have marked off.
- Project Actions – Quickly open Statistics, export a backup or delete the project

Project Dates |
| Started: The date you began the project. Tap the pencil to change it. This is useful if you had already started stitching before adding the chart to Markup R-XP. |
| Edited: Updates automatically as you mark stitches, giving you a quick indication of when you last worked on the project. |
| Complete: Your optional project completion date. Tap the pencil to set, change or remove it. Full guide. |

Stitch Counts and Time |
| Total: The total number of stitches in the project. |
| Marked: The number of stitches you have marked as completed. |
| Todo: The number of stitches still remaining. |
| Time: The stitching time recorded while working on this project. |
| Est.: An estimate of the time left to finish, based on your own stitching speed. It appears once you have marked enough stitches to make a reliable guess. |

Project Actions |
| The three buttons at the bottom of the card are, in screen order: - Statistics: opens the Statistics tab focused on this project.
- Export: saves the project to a backup file you can keep safe or move to another device.
- Delete: removes the project from Markup R-XP. You’ll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.

Did you know?
- The Current Project card rearranges itself on smaller screens, but the same information and controls are still available.
- The estimated time remaining is based on your own stitching speed, not an average pace.
- Export and Restore provide a simple way to back up or move projects between devices. Restore can be found on the Home tab under View Existing Project.
