Set Up Your Grids
Set up the grid on every chart page before the app joins the pages together. Review the whole layout, correct one page at a time, then remove any duplicated overlap between neighbouring pages.
This stage follows Pages and Layout. It is a short process for a single-page chart and a repeatable page-by-page process for a multi-page chart.
The aim: Every red overlay line should follow the chart's printed grid, every page should have the correct row and column counts, and neighbouring pages should join without duplicated stitches.
Set Up Your Grids at a Glance
Review Grids is step 6 of the wizard. Correct each chart page from there, then continue to Set Overlap.
When a page’s grid needs correcting, tap that page in Review Grids. The app takes you through three linked substeps:
Complete the corrections, return to Review Grids and repeat for the next page.
The Overall Process
Editing One Page
When you select a problem page in Review Grids, the app takes you through these substeps:
Single-page charts: Once the grid is correct, the wizard skips Set Overlap because there are no neighbouring pages. It continues directly to Symbols and Colours.
Before You Continue
- Every page has a detected grid.
- The overlay reaches the true grid corners.
- The row and column counts match the chart.
- The overlay follows the printed lines across each page.
- Pages in each row and column have compatible grid sizes.
