Bottom Right overlap means each chart page repeats the first few rows and columns of the pages below and to the right of it. It is the mirror of Top Left, with one amount covering the whole chart.

How Bottom Right Overlap Works

Where the duplicates sit: on the bottom and right edges. The last rows and columns of a page are a repeat of the first rows and columns of its neighbours below and to the right.
What gets trimmed: the set amount is removed from the right edge of every page except the last column, and from the bottom edge of every page except the last row. The outer edges of the chart are never touched.
One amount everywhere: the same count applies to every join across the chart.

Setting It

1. Select the type: tap the L-shape chip until the title bar shows BOTTOM RIGHT Overlap Selected.

2. Count the duplicates: zoom into the join between the first two pages and count how many columns are printed on both sides of the seam. For Bottom Right the repeats sit at the end of the first page.
3. Set the amount: step the value up and down; the tiled chart redraws so you can watch the duplicated cells disappear and the pages close up.
4. Apply with Next: Next trims every page's grid and recomputes sizes, cell counts and symbol counts. Existing marks are carried across.

Did you know?

  • The corner questions choose this for you. On your first visit, answering the bottom-right corner question with a count above zero selects Bottom Right automatically.
  • Top Left or Bottom Right? The end result is the same total chart; the difference is only which side of each seam the printed repeats sit on. Match what your chart actually shows so the preview lines up.
  • Check a second join. If the amount that fixes one seam breaks another, switch to Custom Overlap instead.
