Top Left overlap means each chart page repeats the last few rows and columns of the pages above and to the left of it. One amount covers the whole chart, so this is the quickest type to set.

Where the duplicates sit: on the top and left edges. The first rows and columns of a page are a repeat of the last rows and columns of its neighbours above and to the left. |

Setting It |
| 1. Select the type: tap the L-shape chip until the title bar shows TOP LEFT Overlap Selected. |
| 2. Count the duplicates: zoom into the join between the first two pages and count how many columns are printed on both sides of the seam. |
| 3. Set the amount: step the value up and down; the tiled chart redraws so you can watch the duplicated cells disappear and the pages close up. When the pattern flows across the seam without a repeat, the amount is right.

| 4. Apply with Next: Next trims every page's grid and recomputes sizes, cell counts and symbol counts. Existing marks are carried across. |
Did you know?
- The corner questions choose this for you. On your first visit, answering the top-left corner question with a count above zero selects Top Left automatically.
- Check a second join. If the amount that fixes one seam breaks another, your chart's overlap is not uniform: switch to Custom Overlap instead.
- Known charts pre-fill. When the designer's profile specifies a Top Left overlap, the amount is seeded for you and the preview shows the trim, so you just confirm it.
