Markup Settings decides how your completed stitches look: coloured by symbol or in one colour, how strongly they shade the chart, and the colours for parked and erased stitches.

It is part of Settings. Defaults on the Settings tab, per-project inside a project. The Settings Tab explains the two levels.

The Groups

Marked Stitches

Marking mode: Symbol Colours shades each stitch with its own thread colour, giving a preview of the finished piece. Single Colour marks everything in one colour of your choosing, which reads clearly on busy charts.
Opacity: Light, Medium or Solid. How strongly marks shade the chart, balancing readability of the symbols underneath against visible progress.

Parked Stitches

Parked Colour: The colour of parked markers, threads you have set aside to come back to.
How parking works: Double-tap a cell to park it, and the corner you tap is where the marker sits, so you can keep markers out of your marking path.

Erase Colour

Erase Colour: Used by Erase View in the Set Symbols step, to show which grid cells are assigned to symbols. About Set Symbols.

Did you know?

  • Symbol Colours at Light opacity turns your progress into a soft preview of the finished design as you stitch.
  • Parked and marked colours are semi-transparent by design, so the chart symbol underneath stays readable.
