Thin view keeps Confirmed Symbols compact while leaving each colour and icon large enough to recognise. Use it when you need quick symbol selection and maximum room for the chart.

It forms part of the Confirmed Symbols panel. See Confirmed Symbols for the full picture.

Reading the Symbol List

Colour and icon: Use both together to identify the symbol quickly. The colour swatch may also open colour editing on screens where editing is allowed.
Short name: The thread number or symbol name appears below the icon pair. Thread Manufacturer name is removed in this view to save space.
Selected symbol: Tap a symbol to select it. The current symbol is highlighted and remains selected when you change view. Tap the row again to deselected the symbol.
Parked stitches: A blue P badge appears when the symbol has parked grid squares waiting.

Did you know?

  • Thin is the default view: it gives a useful symbol picker without covering much of the chart.
  • Selected Symbol Display: if a symbol is selected (say from the chart) and is not currently in view on the Symbol List, the panel automatically scrolls it into view.
  • Blended Threads: If a symbol has blended threads both colours will be shown in the colour box, and both thread numbers displayed (if there is space)
