Chart Pages controls the chart image itself: show it or hide it, fade it, rotate it, and set the colour behind it. It only appears in Grid Settings when a project is open.

It is part of Settings Inside a Project, in the Grid Settings section.

The Controls

What Everything Does

The Chart Pages group expandedShow Chart Pages: Toggle the chart image on or off. Turn it off and you are left with just the grid and your markings, a wonderfully clean view once a page is nearly done.
Chart Opacity: A slider that fades the chart pages. On colour charts the full-strength printing can fight with your markup, so easing the opacity back lets your marks take the stage while the chart stays readable underneath.
Chart Rotation: Rotates every chart page 90 degrees at a time. Perfect for charts that were scanned or photographed sideways, and your markup rotates with them.
Background Color: The colour shown behind the chart in the Chart Preview step when preview is on.

Did you know?

  • These controls are per project, so a sideways SAL can stay rotated while your other charts are untouched.
  • Opacity plus Symbol Colours marking (in Markup Settings) turns your progress into a soft preview of the finished piece.
