Project Settings lets you adjust the chart you are currently stitching without leaving Markup. These changes apply to this project, so another project can use different rulers, colours, targets and display choices.

Select the settings button on the Markup action toolbar. The settings panel opens over the chart and is divided into four sections.

1. Settings sections
Choose Grid Settings, Symbol Settings, Markup Settings or Targets and Goals.
2. Setting groups
Each row summarises its current choices. Select a row to open its controls.
3. Reset to Default Values
Returns this project's settings to the app defaults. Use this only when you are happy to replace the project's current choices.
4. Expand or Collapse All
Open every group in the selected section, or close them to see the summaries.

Project settings and app defaults are different. Change the settings here when this chart needs its own setup. Use the Settings tab on the dashboard when you want to change the starting defaults for other projects.

Grid Settings

  • Chart Pages: change the chart's display, opacity or rotation and manage individual pages.
  • Rulers and Grid Counts: show the row and column numbers and choose how large they appear.
  • Centre Lines: show the chart centre as full lines or a centre marker, and adjust the centre position when needed.
  • Guide Bars: frame the area you are stitching and optionally restrict counts or highlighting to that area.

Symbol Settings

Choose how confirmed symbols and chart highlights appear while you stitch. The Confirmed Symbols guide explains the panel's Thin, List and Full views.

Markup Settings

Targets and Goals

Set a completion target, choose how daily progress is displayed and decide whether the target appears on the chart. See Targets and Goals for the full guide.
