Getting There
Opening Settings in a Project |
 Open it: Tap the gear button on the markup screen and settings slide over your chart. |
| A shorter menu: Application Settings and Free Samples stay on the Dashboard, because they belong to the app, not a project. Grid, Symbol, Markup and Targets are all here. |
| Reset to Default Values: The button under the menu returns this project to your app-wide defaults whenever an experiment goes wrong. It only affects the project you have open. |

| Chart Pages: A whole extra group: show or hide the chart image, fade its opacity, rotate all pages 90 degrees at a time, and set the preview background. Full guide. |

Why Two Levels |
| Defaults set your style: The Settings tab is how you like charts in general. Every new project starts from those values. |
| Projects have personalities: A dark hand-dyed chart might need different grid colours than a crisp black-and-white one. Changing them here never disturbs your defaults or your other projects. |
Did you know?
- Markup All Stitches plus a finished date is the quickest way to record a piece you completed before you had the app.
- Reset to Default Values only touches the project you have open, never your other projects or your defaults.
