Guide bars are movable lines you place over the chart to frame the area you are stitching. Use them to keep your row, focus on a region and count the stitches inside it.

All guide bar controls live in the project settings, in the Guide Bars section.

Working in a Region

Count stitches in an area
Place bars around a block of the chart to see the stitch counts for just that region.
Restrict Chart to Guide Region
Limit the symbol list, marking and highlighting to the cells inside the region. Everything outside is dimmed. Statistics still report for the whole project.
